HD's is purple. DOT5 needs to be changed out about every 3-4 years., where as DOT4 needs every 2. Purple will turn a light "cola" color as it ages. I had a feeling it was not DOT 5. I have never seen it change color before. I have found quite a few little surprises on the bike as I have delved deeper into it.
